UNN Abort Screening Test Over Leakage Of Question Paper

There was tension at the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, (UNN)) on Tuesday as candidates who were already seated for the post UTME Screening were asked to go home.
A source at the university confided in LEADERSHIP that the development followed alleged leakage of the question papers that would have been used for the screening, adding that some of the candidates were already in possession of the papers.
Those affected by the sad development were candidates in the faculties of social sciences and arts..

Prior to the alleged leakage, some candidate who applied for other faculties had already sat for screening exercise and traveled back to their various destinations.
Some of the affected candidates, who spoke to newsmen amid tears, expressed regrets over the development, saying that the indefinite shifting of the exam would expose them to serious challenges.
"We were already seated for the test when they asked us to go, saying it would not hold again. From what we heard, they said the questions leaked. Why should such a thing be allowed to happen in a University like this?"one of the candidates lamented.
The screening exercise kicked off on Monday with students in the faculties of biological and pharmaceutical sciences.
Reacting to the development, Mr. Gabriel Ndu, the communication secretary to the Vice Chancellor of the institution, Prof. Bartho Okolo said the screening was cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances
